Ahhhhh Computer Help?

I have a couple problems with my HP Compaq 6715b. When I go to Google and search for something, I click a link then it will take me to a completly diffrent page. Some pages have what looks like IP numbers for the URL, there are some sites like bcar.com and podcastingfreak.com whitch I have no idea what they are. I know this must be a virus or spyware... I have scanned my computer and found spyware and removed it from my computer but this still happens. I have no Virus' either. What is this?

My other problem is that sometimes my computer will just freeze... I can't open anything, I just have to wait about 5-10 mins untill it unfreezes then a red warning baloon will pop up in

the bottom right cornor saying "Small Buisness protection is turned off. To fix this problem click here." I click it and it takes me to my firewall, automatic updates, and virus protection page.

What is wrong with my computer?????

By the way, I use Windows XP.

As the computer is booting press your "F8 Key" repeatly which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" . Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.
