windows vista has windows defender and a windows firewall. i was wondering if that is enough protection for my computer or if i still need to install something else like norton internet security.

defender is good windows firewall is not .....but u should add more security ...here is alink for free downloads ....u can go with avg...or avast ...u can even download zone alarm firewall ...i have zone alarm pro the free version is better by far then windows ....but the pro version (pay) is even better

It is sure.like windows,it has windows firewall and so on.most people still install other software.because windows firewall is too common and many virus want to go through the gate-windows firewall and so on.
