What is wrong with my computer??

I have at%26t yahoo on my computer. Everytime I try and hit the icon to go to the internet it pops up as an error and ask if I want to send an error report. It has been doing this alot over the last few days and I wonder if my comp if infected (even though I have ad-aware and yahoo protection) What is causing my internet to keep disconecting? Thanks

If you are using internet explorer 7 disinstall it go back to IE6 see if it gets better.
I had that problems and it turned out not to be the computer but the internet company. Apparently there are things called packet drops that occur if there's a weak signal in your area if you have broadband or DSL and the internet provider should be able to tell you if that's the problem. If it is they'll have to fix it.
You could have a weak or broken phone line that goes into your computer. Go to Best Buy, Circuit City, or something and buy a new one. If that doesn't work your Internet explorer files may be corrupt and you have to reinstall windows. This can happen by a virus replacing a file in the Internet explore folder than one of your anti virus programs remove the corrupt file and the original.
Get rid of IE7 for starters. Use ccleaner and disk cleanup to remove all the temporary stuff on your computer. Download an antivirus program. Uninstall Yahoo toolbar (Get the google one if you are going to have one, Yahoo brought out their toolbar with many glitches inside it).
