When I put in a DVD into my computer nothing will play...?

I have reinstalled all the necessary programs and updated some of them. But when I click to play the DVD, Windows Media Player says "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because it is not possible to turn on analog copy protection on the output display. Try installing an updated driver for your video card." or it just plays the sound of the DVD's menu and WinDVD says "Create overlay failed. Please lower your screen resolution or color depth and try again." (Except when I do that I get the same message)

What do I do? Please help!

Alot of perfectly legal DVD's have protective codes on them not allowing them to be copied.....I wouldn't be surprised if it could be interfering with your computer program. It's just a possibility. Have you tried viewing DVD's that has worked on it in the past?

you may have an illegal cd or just you don't have a dvd drive on your computer
sounds to me like you have an illegal copy of a dvd. they are protected so they can not be copied and some one tried to copy it. thus your computer is getting an erra message.
it may have something to do with the copyright protection on the DVD, or you might need a new video card.
