Spyware and malaware?

although i have carried out a full system scan and my computer shows no problems i keep getting a balloon saying spyware alert your computer as been compromised and your details are not secure plus system performance will be slow is there anyway of getting rid of this without having to pay for more computer protection i already have anti-spyware pop up blockers you name it !

You might have been duped into downloading one of those fake (trojan) spyware/adware removal programs. I would stick with one (or both) of the 2 best free programs recommended by professional software reviewers (and myself.)

Go to services in computer management and turn off the messenger service, see if that helps..
You have not mentioned which anti-spyware you use. In case, you don't have any of these, then get them, update and scan your computer one after the other. Using more than one antiviruses or firewalls is not a good idea, but it is no problem with anti-spywares.
