You can buy Anti-Virus protection on-line or at any computer store such as Best Buy. Spy-ware protection can be added into many of these Anti-Virus protection programs as well now. If you are looking for a free one, go to Microsoft.com and download there free anti-spy-ware program. it's pretty good. It's called Windows Defender.
Look at the major AV suppliers like Mcafee and Sophos

Personally I would not touch Norton I would use Mcafee AV and there personal desktop firewall backage.
Try downloading SpyBot and Ad-Aware, for a virus protection I'd suggest nod32.
Get Avast Home Edition (the best free antivirus). It's very good with viruses, but is terrible with spyware. For spyware get Microsoft Antispyware.
Buy noront anit-virus or one of the many others. For spyware download windows defender, yahoo, or spybot. It's good to have one anti-virus and at least two spyware programs.
Dont buy any antivirus or spyware. Just click on www.zonealarm.com. Download free version of zonealarm.
