Why does my computer keep freezing???

On certain web pages it will just freeze- i still have use of the keyboard and mouse but i have to keep doing Ctrl+Alt+Delete to make it go away. When I try it over again it still doesnt work

Anyway to stop this??

I do have protection its like Tren Micro Pc-cillin internet security or something but is there anything else that is free and that works that i can use??

you're computer could be just old and biting the dust. if it's relativly new than it could be that you're antivirust missed something. the program you're using for the internet may itself be currupt. or if you have dial up than it's just that your internet sucks.
Your computer may be running low of free disk space reserved for the RAM to load web pages. You mentioned that it freezes on certain web pages, These pages may be loading more info into you RAM requiring it to use free temp disk space. This free space is know as your cache. You clean out your cache and increase your virtual memory. This should stop the problem. I also highly recommend cleaning your registry to free up more of computer resources. Do a scan if you get a bunch of errors clean it. The link below shoes how to clean your cache and increase virtual memory. Hope it helps.
