Ad-Aware SE Plus is usually pretty cheap and SOO effective. The first time I ran it, I removed 1200 items of spyware, adware, and malware. Definitely worth the price. Highly recommended.
Norton systemworks is great for computers I have been using this for many years and never had any virus's or problems using this program. I buy new ones each year as Norton systemworks always adds better things to make a computer stay safe and run fast.
I have used them all, from Norton to AVG to Mcaffee. Now Norton has some lil proggie within it that does some spying. Thats when I quit using it. I now use NOD32 and I truely believe its the best.
