I have Windows Vista on my computer and I bought in Staples McAfee and Norton virus and neither want to download. I contacted both compnaies and after 3 hours with McAfee and 4 in a half with Norton I gave up trying to install/unistall and reinstall the program. I called my PC company and no luck there either. My countdown with Norton's 1 year protection started and it is not even working.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Has this happened to anyone? If so, were you able to fix it?

Well first off if you can TAKE both back to Staples get your money back. Both those programs are system resource hogs. Then once that is done go to www.grisoft.com buy and download thier Pro Suite and you will be up and running in no time with free downloads and daily updates to keep up with the internets virues, malware, spyware, etc. not to mention you only have to renew your license every 2 years with them. me peronsally I have never cared for Mcafee or Norton.
