Slow computer?

my bros computer runs SOOOOO slow. i have put spyware and virus protection on it and ran both scans and it has none. i have ran disk defrag. still no help. we removed all extra games and programs and it is still sooooo slow. it has 128 megs of ram...and a 10 GB hard drive and its runing XP professional. some guy made this computer for him...and it didnt use to be this slow.....what could be wrong with it?

What Anti-spyware or Antivirus you are using?Some security program are heavy on resource thats could be the problem since you have only 128 of megs.
